Construction: Sound effects and Greenscreen

These are screen shots of adding in sound to our opening. For this we needed to make sure that the sound levels weren't too high nor too low so you can hear the audio speech still. When coming to find the right sound which could be used in the background we experimented with different kinds of sound. instrumental sound, natural sound, upbeat sound. in the end we went for natural sound as we felt like it would suit our 'horror movie opening' object more. Before we decided which sound we wanted to use we research up different horror movie openings so we could compare the music which we found worked best, then interpret this into our openings.

When coming to add in the sound we had to make sure that the timings of the sounds we chose went hand in hand, with the editing. at times in the music, we had to change the volume of each soundtrack because some of the sounds were to over powering.

These below are screenshots to show how we have inserted and found a green screen clip in which we wanted to use within our opening. The reason why we had to find a green screen clip of a recording frame was so the green would go within the layers in editing and would allow us to be left with the filming frame we wanted. When coming to the process in finding a green screen filming frame we had a look and ones which had clear quality of text. When adding the green screen to our first cut we had to paste and repeat the green screen along and cut to the shots.

This is another edit including sound and using the green screen within the opening. The next stage from this is to add the titles in. When coming to the titles we will have to position the titles right on the screen so you will be able to see them, so this is why we can add them to a lighter part in the screen frame.
